In addition to this Wiki, the esolang community maintains a file archive of implementations, programs, web sites and other related files. The archive is run by Catatonic Porpoise and resides on the same server as the Wiki.

[edit] Adding files to the archive

The only way to add files to the archive is to have a user with write access upload them for you. Currently the following users have write access: Graue, Chris Pressey, Pgimeno, Rune, and Gregor Richards.

[edit] Mirroring the archive

You can make a mirror of the archive to help ensure it doesn't suddenly disappear in a catastrophic explosion. To do so, you will need Subversion: 

   http://subversion.tigris.org/

To check out a copy, make a new directory, go into it and type 

   svn co http://esoteric.voxelperfect.net/svn/esofiles/ ./

From then on, you should update your copy by typing "svn up" in the same directory once in awhile. You can be extra useful by making your mirror available on a public server.

Don't worry about the Subversion history. We don't intend to delete anything, unless we need to for legal reasons, which hopefully won't happen.
