I started on this page because a bunch of my favorite weird languages weren't mentioned anywhere on Esolang, and it struck me that the claim that it all started with INTERCAL just wasn't right. The languages I put on my list include a bunch that I've used (APL, TMG) or even written compiler/interpreters for (EXPLOR, GPM, QED.) I am (slowly, slowly) rescuing McIlroy's UNIX implementation of TMG -- it's written in PDP-11 assembly language, and deserves to be translated into something more modern and portable. I've also written a "high-level" version of EXPLOR -- even more cryptic, but more "modern", that I'd be glad to make available. Tom Duff 17:36, 22 Sep 2006 (UTC)
